If I got off that, it would just point to the end. When I tried to follow it, it would work if I was within about 15m of the center line of the track. Sometimes each point in the gpx became a waypoint. I've loaded gpx files into devices and had them become tracks and routes. TIP: Stay 10 m away from other ANT+ sensors while pairing. For some Garmin compatible devices, bring the device within 1 cm of the heart rate monitor to pair automatically. I decided I'm going to try Garmin's online help as well as just calling them to see if they have reps visiting local stores (like REI) because I want to meet with them and figure something out. I was looking for a Garmin tech note or something explaining (1) how the device worked (the funky stuff, not the easy stuff), (2) how the software packages worked and (3) how it all worked together, and I just threw up my arms in frustration.
